Surety is a decentralised protocol bridging fiat and crypto — market making a single, secured on-chain fund digital asset backed by reserves in multiple fiat currencies.
At its core lies the Surety Fund (SRF) — a digital asset backed by a diverse basket of fiat currencies, securely held by a global network of custodians. SRF is enabled through advanced technologies like zkTLS custody verification, Surety Bonds, and an integrated decentralised exchange (DEX). At large, Surety ensures security, transparency, and trust moving between the rest of the world’s fiat and digital assets.
The Surety Protocol delivers:
- Lowest spreads for on/off-ramps, ensuring cost-efficient conversions.
- Open custody, offering yield on idle fiat reserves to anyone.
- Yield on single-token staking of USDC or SRF (the Surety Fund).
Complementing the SRF is the Surety Governance Token (SRP), which provides economic incentives and voting rights to participants. This governance mechanism aligns protocol incentives, ensuring liquidity demands are met sustainably.
